The Peace Garden

Pollinators don’t need passports. A garden shared across three countries is a living lesson in peace.

A Peace Pole
Dedication goal

September 21, 2027

Our goal is to dedicate the Peace Garden on the UN International Day of Peace, which falls at peak monarch migration through Kansas City.

  • Four Sister Gardens: Michoacán, Texas, the Heartland and Canada, each planted by sister clubs and communities
  • A Peace Pole ringed with milkweed, saying "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in many languages
  • The 4-7-8-17 Circle: the Four-Way Test, 7 Areas of Focus, 8 Pillars of Peace and 17 UN Goals
